Latent Lift by Gambit ID launched

Gambit ID has launched a fantastic, new field forensic product called Latent Lift by Gambit ID. Latent Lift is similar to SLAPSHOT whereby it uses a standard smartphone for capture, allowing field operators the ability to lift fingerprints at the crime scene from specular surfaces without disturbing evidence.

Officers are able to send high-quality latent images for review by analysts immediately. When seconds count, field capture of critical evidence can make a major difference in the safe and rapid resolution of a case.

Gambit ID achieves ISO 27001, 27017, 27018 certification and SOC 2 Type II attestation

Gambit ID is proud to announce it has achieved important compliance milestones that provide third-party validation of the company's security best practices:

ISO 27001 Certification: The most internationally recognized standard for information security management, ISO 27001 has comprehensive requirements for active executive leadership involvement across areas such as policy, process, records, ownership, risk management, resourcing, and communication.

ISO 27017 Certification: A standard that provides additional guidance and implementation advice on information security aspects specific to cloud computing.

ISO 27018 Certification: Establishes commonly accepted control objectives, controls and guidelines for implementing measures to protect Personally Identifiable Information (PII) in accordance with defined privacy principles for public cloud computing environments.

SOC 2 Type II Attestation: Companies that use cloud service providers turn to SOC 2 to assess and provide information regarding the risks associated with third-party technology services. While the Type I report describes a service provider’s systems and whether the system is suitably designed to meet relevant trust principles, the Type II report details the operational effectiveness of those systems. This includes a historical element that shows how controls were managed by a business over a period of time. It also looks at how effectively the company's internal controls and processes operate over a longer period.

These compliance milestones validate the strength and effectiveness of Gambit ID’s information security management system (ISMS) and signifies its commitment to securing both company and customer data. Gambit ID joins an elite class of global enterprise organizations with mature information security practices.
